Nunu Wako hosts a podo evening in Washington dc

Posted: November 2013

Ethiopian born, American talk show host and model compared a reception and awareness raising evening for podoconiosis at the Ethiopian Embassy in Washington DC on Friday. She interviewed Professor Moses Bockarie Director of the Centre for Neglected Tropical Disease at Liverpool, Gail Davey, Professor of Global Epidemiology and Dr Mike Mycoskie, representing TOMS shoes. She was visibly moved when recounting her experiences of visiting the podo patients in Ethiopia and we are very lucky to have her as an embassador. Thank-you Nunu.
